"The intense palate is all class, blending purity, precision and power.

About The Wine
Sam Connew first fell in love with Pinot Noir during her time making wine in Oregon, USA.
Her love of the variety has eventually lead her back to Tasmania where she now grows her own fruit for this stellar premium version of Pinot Noir from her little block in the Coal River Valley.
Her Pinot Noir is a crunchy, spicy red-fruited delight.
It's about nuance and delicacy with this wine, it unfurls in the glass slowly.
The 2018 vintage was superb for Pinot Noir in this part of Tas, Sam has capitalised on the conditions and brought a beautiful wine to bottle here.
This was rated 98 points by James Haliiday and selected in his Top 100 Wines of 2020.
About Stargazer
Sam Connew. Previous Chief Winemaker a the famous Wirra Wirra vineyards, said she'd never start her own label.
Never.
She packed her bags and left the Vale to her home in the Hunter Valley. A couple of trips to Tassie later, and boom, Stargazer was born.
It is a labour of love for Sam, making small quantities of wine from small parcels of fruit. Striving for individuality and quality.
Sam's wines are beautiful, ethereal representations of the Apple Isle.
