Return & Refund Policy
Breakages
Even though instances are rare, breakages are an unfortunate fact of life when shipping glass bottles of wine. To provide you with complete peace of mind, every Different Drop order is fully insured.
If your shipment arrives with broken items or the Australia Post tracking indicates it has been damaged, please contact us promptly and we’ll organise a replacement or refund.
Faulty Product
If a wine you have purchased from Different Drop is faulty, damaged (excluding damage caused by misuse) or wrongly described we will happily refund your money, provide store credit, or where possible, send a replacement bottle.
For some high-value products, Different Drop reserves the right to have the product assessed for acceptable quality prior to discussing a suitable remedy with you.
To make a claim under our faulty returns policy please send us an email to hello@differentdrop.com within 60 days of receiving your wine. Where possible, kindly send us a photo and description of the issue as this helps expedite the process.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse refunds if we disagree with the claimed fault (eg. the wine simply didn’t taste as you’d expected), or feel this policy is being unfairly taken advantage of
Change of Mind Return
Different Drop happily provides the option to a refund or an exchange if you have changed your mind on a purchase, provided that:
- The return is initiated within 30 days after it has been delivered;
- The order is in it's orginal packaging; and
- It has not been refrigerated or placed on ice at any time. When purchasing for an event, please take this into consideration.
If you wish to return an order please contact us at hello@differentdrop.com and we will arrange a return shipping label for you. Please note that return postage is at the expense of the customer and is not covered by Different Drop. Once the product is received and assessed (see above) we will refund you the value of the wine less any shipping and credit card fees. An estimate of this cost will be provided to you open initiating the return.
Exceptions
If Different Drop reasonably believes that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, Different Drop reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Refund in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer's account.
