Six brilliantly priced Shiraz in one super mixed pack. A no-brainer for mid-week drinking for any Shiraz lover.
The Old Vine Shiraz is the twin of Alex Head's benchmark Old Vine Grenache.
These wines celebrate the incredible vineyard resources that Alex is lucky enough to work with. The vines that contribute to this release are up to 100 years old. To get fruit from these rare historic sites, made by a talent such as Alex at this price point, shows the remarkable value to be had in Australian wine at the moment.
This is classic Barossa Shiraz - robust, powerful and deliciously opulent.

"A seductive, comforting nose of plush dark red fruits sits in harmony with black earth and a fresh waft of field herbs and eucalypt. A splash of Cabernet helps its appeal. Yep, sure seems like Australia to me – and the rich palate is generous without being bulky, underpinned by solid structure, a firm seam of fine-grained tannins and the most gentle oak frame to bind it all through a long, balanced ride."
- David Sly (Decanter)
The 2023 Dune Blewitt Springs Shiraz is a cracking example of what makes this McLaren Vale sub-region so special.
Crafted by Duncan and Peter Lloyd from their organic vineyard, this Shiraz leans into the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs, bringing a softer, medium-bodied style with fine tannins and plenty of character.
It’s all about balance here - dark fruits, a touch of spice, a savoury edge, and that hallmark chalky texture from the sands. The Lloyd brothers keep the winemaking simple, letting the vineyard do the heavy lifting, and the result is a Shiraz that’s ripe, vibrant, and ridiculously drinkable.
Whether you’re sharing it over dinner or enjoying a glass on its own, this is McLaren Vale Shiraz with a difference - elegant, layered, and ready to go now. Perfect for those who love their reds approachable but packed with interest.

"Darkly wrought fruit, spicy and savoury, though not cresting out of medium weight, with a refined array of red fruits emerging with air. Powdered spices – star anise, allspice, clove, cassia – black cherry, dark-roast coffee bean, lavender, violet and nori. Delicious and, like all the Dune wines, truly exceptional value."

"There’s so much to like about these Dune wines. Stylish (visually as well) and well-priced. Lots of perfume and exotic spice, some black olive and dried herbs, fresh blackberry and cherry. It’s medium-bodied, supple in fine-grained tannin, has a sort of glassy acidity, quite meaty, with something of a fresh black berry tang, and a long gently grainy finish. Lovely wine. Understated, but complex."

Bryan Martin has a knack for turning classic blends on their head, and this Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre is a perfect example. Rather than chasing sheer power, he’s built a mid-weight red that’s fragrant, supple and impossible not to enjoy.
The fruit comes from the Hilltops and Murrumbateman, with a splash of Mourvèdre from Hilltops. The result is a wine that feels complete: lifted and perfumed, showing red and dark fruits, spice, and that silky Ravensworth texture we can’t get enough of.
It’s a Rhône-inspired blend but very much stamped with Bryan’s style – lighter on its feet, balanced, and made for the table. Drink it young, while it’s bright and juicy, or give it a few years to build a little more depth.
Another smart, delicious addition to the Ravensworth Regional range, and one we’ll be reaching for often.
Luke Lambert’s Syrah is a masterclass in restraint. Much like the man who makes it, it's a wine that's complex and nuanced rather than out-and-out power. The fruit comes from the sunnier western side of the Denton Hill, where thin soils and low yields give naturally concentrated berries.
In 2024, Lambert worked with 80% whole bunches, each ferment foot-stomped by Rosalind to gently burst the skins, coaxing perfume and texture from every berry. The wine was raised in a large, neutral French oak foudre to keep the fruit and site at the centre of the story.
It’s an especially expressive release and the richest of the last 4 years in our opinion: violet, blueberry and a smoky, lifted spice on the nose; juicy blue and black fruits on the palate, threaded with orange rind, anise and a dusting of tannin so fine it’s almost suede-like. There’s muscle in the wine, but it’s reined in by Lambert’s feather-light touch. The balance is spot-on, the detail precise, and the finish lingers long after the glass is empty.
This is Yarra Valley Syrah at its most elegant, and proof again why Luke Lambert remains one of Australia’s most compelling winemakers of his generation.
The Cote d’Or vineyard in central Pokolbin has roots stretching back to 1866, when the pioneering Wilkinson family first planted vines on its steep, fossil-studded ridge. Those original vines are long gone, but the 1971 replanting has proven just as storied, producing Shiraz of poise, fragrance, and effortless mid-weight Hunter charm.
The 2023 vintage looked shaky early on after a nasty hailstorm, but patience and persistence paid off. By March, pockets of pristine fruit revealed themselves, and selective handpicking gave Andrew Thomas what he now calls the best Cote since 2019.
In the glass, it’s everything you want from Hunter Shiraz: medium-bodied yet layered, with dark cherry, mulberry, and blackberry lifted by spice, dried herbs and a faint pink peppercorn note. French oak plays only a supporting role, letting the vineyard’s floral perfume and silky tannin structure lead the way.
It’s approachable now - supple, elegant, and a joy to drink - but has the balance to develop beautifully over the next decade. A wine that speaks both to the resilience of the Hunter and Thomas’s knack for coaxing the best from its great sites.
"A brightly fruited wine, modern in style, with fabulous aromatics."
- Toni Paterson MW (Halliday Wine Companion)
This is a blend of mostly Shiraz with a good chunk of Mataro, grown across three blocks on the Adelina estate. About half the fruit comes off vines planted in 1915 - the rest from younger plantings - all farmed organically.
Each block was fermented on its own, with varying time on skins depending on the parcel. After pressing, the wine went into large-format oak for ten months, with just a bit of new wood in the mix.
It’s a firm, savoury wine with depth from the old vine fruit and freshness from the younger sites. There’s shape, dark fruit, and plenty of drive, but nothing feels heavy or forced. It’s balanced, well-made, and true to the place it comes from.
Always one of the most dependable reds in the Adelina lineup and still excellent value for what’s in the bottle.

"Dark-fruited and savory... showing blueberry compote, graphite and dark cherries. Finely constructed. Drink or hold. Screw cap."

"A charming wine, tightened gently with fine, dusty tannin, but ostensibly built around a notion of ease of drinking and prettiness."

"This is very good... The Mataro adds a bit of X-Factor, and there’s a bit more substance and oomph to this wine over the straight Shiraz. Excellent."
