Other Delivery Questions
Different Drop Delivery - Sydney Metro: If no one is home and there are no special delivery instructions, the courier will try to call for instructions. If the driver believes there is a safe space to leave your wine they will do so if not, they will return the item to us and hold your order until further instruction from you.
Anonymous Wine Freight: If no one is home and there are no special delivery instructions, the courier will try to call for instructions. Australia Post: Australia Post will leave the parcel if they have been given authority to leave and it is deemed safe to do so otherwise it will go to the local post office. To give your Authority to Leave, please enter this in the Order Notes on the cart page during check out.
Yes, if you already have a PO Box with Australia Post, all you'll need to do is:
- At checkout select "Australia Post" as the delivery provider and enter your PO Box address at your local Parcel Collect.
- When your order has been delivered, you'll receive a notification (via email, SMS or alert on your Auspost app).
- Collect your wine! You have 10 days to collect your order before it'll return to us. Don't forget to bring your ID when picking up your wines and that you provide your full name on the order.
NOTE: We cannot deliver your wines to a PO BOX through Different Drop Delivery or through our delivery partner, Anonymous Wine Freight.
Unless you tell us otherwise, we will always ship your order.
With Australia being such a vast and sprawling country monitoring the weather in every location we deliver to is not realistic. Moreover we can’t predict what every customer's definition of ‘too hot’ will be.
If you want your order held to avoid heat it is your responsibility to let us know. Please contact us before or immediately after placing your order and we will schedule dispatch for a future date.
Heat Damage: If you believe your wine has been subject to heat damage, please contact hello@differentdrop.com. We will address the matter immediately and work with you to find an appropriate solution. Whatever happens, we'll look after you!
