About The Pack
The Two Tonne Tasmania sub-regional series of Pinot Noirs give you an insight into the varying styles of Pinot Noir that can be produced across the island.
There is not much in Tasmania that can go toe-to-toe with these wines at the price.
Premium, hand-crafted, small-batch Tasmanian Pinot Noir at this kind of price doesn't come around every day.
Here's your chance to sample all three of his Pinots from the excellent 2021 season at a terrific price.
2021 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
The TMV Pinot Noir is meant for earlier consumption than the more premium Dog and Wolf Pinot Noir by Ricky Evans.
It's a glimpse at the vintage for the Tamar Valley sub-region. But make no mistake, this is not your average 'entry level' Pinot Noir, this has an edge to it, a personality all of its own.
The 2021 release of the Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir is a ripper. Ricky says it's his best yet, albeit in a lighter, more athletic frame than is typical of this cuveé.
It's a cracking wine with immaculate fruit and a savoury backbone - a great representation of the quality being produced by a new wave of Tasmanian winemaking rock-stars.
Stocks are limited on this release, don't hesitate.

Ricky Evans is a star on the rise. His boutique label Two Tonne Tasmania is one of the a names to watch on the Apple Isle.
The EST Pinot Noir comes from a small, mature vineyard on the North Eastern coastline of Tasmania. Views of the sea can be taken in from the vineyard, a marginal site with a unique climate for producing finely detailed Pinot Noir.
The small inclusion of whole bunch lending structure and architecture to this wonderfully pure feeling wine. It's a treat to drink and only made in limited quantities. Ricky's wines are never available for long so if you want to see what he's up to, buy now or forever hold your peace.

The STH (South) Pinot Noir is the final piece of the Two Tonne Tasmania sub-regional Pinot Noir puzzle.
Ricky has been trying to put a southern Tasmania Pinot Noir together for a while. This year, it came to fruition.
He managed to source two small parcels of fruit, one from Kinvarra vineyard in the Derwent Valley, the other from the notable Nocton vineyard in Coal River.
Both parcels were fermented together, the Derwent bringing the brightness to the wine, Coal River bringing the shade.
Of the three excellent sub-regional Pinots in Ricky's range, this is the biggest, darkest and plushest of the bunch.
