A chardonnay from a well-loved wine producer, from the Adelaide Hills, for $20? Well, don’t mind if we do.

About the Wine
It can be difficult to find classy, good value Chardonnay in the Adelaide Hills these days. Thankfully, the folks at The Lane Vineyards are still striving to produce a wine that fits that MO.
The Block 1A Chardonnay is made in a low-oak, clean, crisp style: a versatile and vibrant version of the variety. Mike Bennie was well impressed with the 2016 release, saying "A chardonnay from a well-loved wine producer, from the Adelaide Hills, for $20? Well, don’t mind if we do."
A wine that ticks a lot of the right boxes for those who want quality Chardonnay at a price they can drink any night of the week.
About The Lane Vineyard
The Lane are forging a reputation as one of the Adelaide Hills' premier producers, and are all about quality and authenticity with every single berry grown on site at their own vineyard. Their philosophy is to craft premium single vineyard wines that combine the finesse of Europe, the flavour of Australia and the unique characteristics of their vineyard.
Chardonnay and Shiraz are what the Edwards family do best, but Bordeaux varieties - red and white - perform strongly also. With a gorgeous cellar door and restaurant The Lane is well worth a visit, and with their ever-improving range of premium wines they are truly a star Hills producer.
