About The Wine
This Chardonnay comes from the iconic Tarraford vineyard in the Yarra Valley.
Being in a sheltered valley the Tarraford vineyard has a distinctly cooler microclimate than its neighbouring sites. This makes for great Chardonnay production, especially in warmer, shorter vintages such as 2016.
The 2016 has a little more flesh and weight than previous releases. It's a rounded, voluminous Chardonnay with excellent balance and offers more upfront fruit than the structural 2015. This is a must-have for any lover of Yarra Valley Chardonnay.
