Nice, cool, restrained, even flow to this wine... Lovely drink.

About the Wine
With extensive experience making wine at Victorian powerhouse producers Best's Great Western and Mount Langhi Ghiran, as well as several stints overseas, Adam Louder has quite the resume when it comes to producing high quality Shiraz.
The 2015 Pyrenees Shiraz is about the exploration of the special Malakoff Vineyard in the Pyrenees, and it shows the balance and finesse of a winemaker now with 30 vintages under his belt. Made in a very minimalist fashion with no fining and no filtration, it's an easy-going yet thought-provoking Shiraz, and just utterly charming.
Just 74 dozen made of this delightful rare gem .
About SubRosa
Adam Louder's career has been a long and prestigious one even though he is only in his mid-30s. With more than 30 vintages under his belt, he has worked with some true masters during his time at the press. From the early days under Trevor Mast at Mount Langhi Ghiran to Araujo Estate owned by Chateau Latour in the Napa Valley, to Chateau Carsin in Bordeaux and Pierro and Xanadu in Margaret River, the man has worked in world-class wineries his entire career.
Now, alongside his wife Nancy Panter, his own label SubRosa is breaking through with a characterful range of charming wines from Victoria. Working with a number of excellent vineyards in Grampians and the Pyrenees, SubRosa's specialty is Shiraz, with some more than impressive Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Viognier playing second fiddle.
The wines are made in a very hands-off fashion and in tiny quantities - this is an exciting project which should have a close eye kept on it.
