The Eloquesta is Stuart Olsen's pride and joy.
This is the best fruit in Mudgee that he can get his hands on, fermented as whole bunches and left alone in French and Hungarian oak barrels for 32 months before bottling.
Stuart going for a dense yet elegant style of Shiraz with a little Petit Verdot to give some lift. The fruit quality in 2015 was exceptional and has produced what Stuart thinks is his 'richest Eloquesta to date'.
It's an opulent wine with lavish oak and deep pools of fruit. Perfect for those who enjoy hearty red wines with some power.
