There are few producers making Barbaresco in the same class as the wines of the Produttori, but none who surpasses them.

About The Wine
Nebbiolo with some bottle age is quite the treat, time unfurling all the nuance this fabled grape’s capable of. And this special Riserva bottling from over a decade ago, is in a real sweet spot.
From the tiny Barbaresco single vineyard of Paje (pah-yay), it’s all there. Striking bricky colour and a fragrant nose of tea leaf and rose blossom.
But when you get to the earthy soft berry fruit and gorgeous velvety texture, you’ll know why so many folks are looking for wines like this, to get their Nebbiolo fix.
About Produttori del Barbaresco
The singular focus on grape variety, place and unwavering quality, is what sets the cooperative wines of the Produttori del Barbaresco wines apart.
This collaboration of small grape growers came at the encouragement of the local priest in 1958, at a time when there was no premium market for these wines. Today, the operation is headed by the irrepressible Aldo Vacca.
Now controlling almost 1/6 of Barbaresco’s vines and 9 single vineyard bottlings, this collective of 52 families produce and some the most consistent, classic and accessibly priced expressions of Nebbiolo from this region.
