About The Wine
For lovers of rich red wines with soul, and those who look for those small batch gems, this wine from Dylan Arvidson is going to knock your socks off.
After two months on skins, the full dark fruited spectrum of flavours available in Petit Verdot have come to the fore. Dylan makes this with a gentle hand, nursing a single barrel through to bottle. Minimal inputs resulting in maximum impact.
Margaret River produces some of the country's finest wines from Bordeaux varieties and this ranks among the best local examples of Petit Verdot you will find.
With 93 points from Gary Walsh and only 33 dozen made, this little gem won't be around for long.

100% Petit Verdot, 2months on skins in 400L Botte Barrels, basket pressed, unfined. It packs the tannin, acidity and structure PV is known for but is well balanced and refined. Black forest cake and violets on the nose with plum, raspberry, and cherry on the palate. Begs to be matched with rich food and good times.

"Packs a bit of tannin and lively acidity, in with cherry and chocolate, peat and dark spices. Rich and thick (like so many people), though not particularly heavy, having a certain vigorous dash and derring-do, not least for a Petit Verdot. Dried herbs and earth on the finish, with a whiff of floral perfume as it goes. Like this a lot. Plenty of crunch and interest."

Do I have to order in dozens? No, please mix it up! You can order wines in any quantity and variation you like. You can order 1 bottle or 50. We challenge you to make the ultimate mixed pack of wine!
Are there volume discounts? No, our pricing is designed to be the best in market already - no marking up and then discounting down! For very large orders (weddings, etc) we are open to negotiating though. Just give us a call.
Do we price match? Yes, within reason. Everyday low & consistent pricing is something we strongly believe in. We want our customers to feel confident they are always getting the best price. If you see a price lower somewhere else let us know and we'll consider matching it. We'll even retrospectively issue you store credit if you have already purchased from us but you see a lower price somewhere later on. Our price match policy can be seen here.
Can coupons and discounts be stacked? No, only one discount or coupon can be applied to an order at once.
I am trying to add more of a wine to my cart but it won’t let me? This means we are running low on stock of that wine. So for example, if the website will only allow you to add 3 bottles and no more, then that is all we have of that particular wine. The good news is we may be able to order more for you. Just contact us on 02 8376 8775 or hello@differentdrop.com and we'll organise the additional quantity for you.
Does Different Drop have a physical store? No. Just an a warehouse/office. We occasionally do events however, so sign up to our newsletter or follow us on instagram to stay in the loop.
Can I special order a wine you do not sell? If it’s doable, then we’ll make it happen. Just contact us directly via phone, chat or email and we’ll find out for you right away. Please note that in most cases special orders such as these will need to be in full case lots (6 or 12 bottles).
