What's in the pack:
The Koerner brothers are running head on at Clare Valley wine. They've put together one of the region's most dynamic ranges of wine, investigating unsung pockets of the area with energy and creativity. It's exciting stuff.
The La Korse is not your average Clare Valley red. Here the boys combine Sangiovese, Grenache and Sciaccarello with a splash of Carignan & Malbec to create a vibrant, mischievous red with epic drinkability.
This is a new look Clare Valley red.
The Dr. Edge Tyrannosaurus dREDge is a dinosaur in name but definitely not in nature.
Named in honour of being called a "dinosaur" by an employee (we assume a former employee now), winemaker Peter Dredge sourced the Pinot Meunier grapes from Pipers Brook in Tassie's north, and the Derwent Valley in the south, with a little splash of Pinot Noir thrown in for a touch more grunt. A mix of 50% whole berry on skins and the rest under carbonic maceration, it then spent two months on lees in tank.
Tart cherries and fresh pomegranate mix with a herb-infused and forest floor savouriness to create an ultra-bright and cherry wine. A light little pixie of a wine that's just a pleasure to drink.
Unico Zelo’s Jungle Jungle is an irresistible red that celebrates Dolcetto’s lighter, juicy side while layering in unexpected depth and structure. This Clare Valley and Langhorne Creek blend showcases Brendan and Laura Carter’s knack for crafting approachable, vibrant wines perfectly suited to modern Australian tastes.
The fruit comes primarily from the Polish Hill River sub-region, with the addition of some stellar Langhorne Creek Dolcetto. These sites, rooted in shale and blue slate soils, bring a mix of bright, juicy blueberries and black cherry alongside earthy spice and herbal undertones. The winemaking is minimal intervention, letting the natural character of the fruit shine through while soft tannins provide the wine with a subtle framework.
On the palate, it’s a perfect balance of comfort and complexity. The plush fruit and aromatic lift make this a delightful match for casual dining, particularly dishes you can enjoy with your hands—think woodfired pizza or smoky BBQ. Pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes for extra freshness, and you’re in for a treat.
Jungle Jungle is quintessential Unico Zelo: thoughtful, fun, and deeply drinkable. A crowd-pleasing red with character to spare.
Nero d’Avola is a variety that is right up Andre and Selina’s alley. It pops out of the glass with all things juicy, bright and extremely gluggable - all things we typically associate with the red wines made by this duo at Bondar Wines.
The young vines the fruit is harvested from gives a lighter feel to the wine, with freshness and soft structure. It’s an ideal red for any day or time, and popping it in the fridge for a slight chill won’t go astray.
This wine is a small make release, so get your hands on a bottle while you still can.
Here’s a wine that walks right out of the Hilltops and straight into Piedmont with a distinctly Ravensworth twist. Bryan Martin blends Barbera and Nebbiolo here with all the charm and cleverness you’d expect, delivering a wine that’s bright, savoury, and seriously moreish.
Barbera brings its juicy red fruit, vibrant acidity, and easy charm, while Nebbiolo steps in with florals, spice, and a bit of muscle to rein it all in. It’s a classic pairing - lifted aromatics, plush cherry fruit, and that firm-but-fine Nebbiolo grip tying it all together. Bryan reckons it’s “a little more serious for the process” this year, and it shows in the wine’s structure and depth.
Medium-bodied, food-friendly and wildly versatile, this is the kind of red you bring to a dinner party and end up fielding questions about all night. Delicious now, and will hold its shape beautifully over the next few years.
"Our tilt at the wonderful Lange blends from Piemonte. Barbera is just so juicy and zesty, the introduction of the more serious Nebbiolo tames this acidity and adds a wash of fine tannin. Like mash and gravy, they just work.
- Bryan Martin (Ravensworth)
While Spinifex has certainly amassed a formidable reputation for producing some of the country's leading examples of Rhone-inspired reds and whites, Peter Schell is no slouch with when it comes to knocking out a top-notch example of an emerging variety either.
This is a single vineyard Tempranillo from the foothills of the Barossa Valley. It's picked early, destemmed, fermented wild and bottled without fining or filtration. This release from the Spinifex duo is as you might expect, a combination of just the right amount of precision and drinkability.
With this release, Pete is searching for freshness and varietal character - he's nailed it.
A great addition to the Spinifex range and yet another feather in Pete's very feathery cap.
