2022 Unico Zelo Sea Foam Pet Nat
The Unico Zelo Pet Nat has been a fan-fave of ours since it's first release. And of course it just had to come from Fiano, the variety Brendan and Laura Carter have so passionately championed for many years.
Introducing 'Sea Foam'! It has all the ripe stone fruits and tropical fruits that thew variety naturally possesses, with a savoury, saltiness on close balancing things nicely. Throw in some nice fizz and we've got a real party starter!
Another fun and fascinating drink from Unico Zelo and, as always, unbeatable value for money.

This Pet-Nat is from the hands of Owen Latta.
Owen is exploring the world of natural winemaking at his home winery in Ballarat, the venture into natural sparkling was the next obvious step.
This is made from Pinot Gris which, as with all Petillant Naturel, has continued the final stages of its ferment inside the bottle.
This is a clean, crisp style of fizz with a delicate fruitiness which makes it the ideal accompaniment to picnic blankets under a shady tree.
Fizzy, funky, fun times.

Not gonna lie. You will need more than one bottle of this.
Pet Nat has come a long way in a short time. Unico Zelo have nailed their take on it with this Tropo. It's a cool blend of Chardonnay for weight, Pinot Gris for fruit and Merlot for some structure and - with their powers combined - it becomes a dangerously drinkable sparkling.
Like all pet nats, ease is key. It's a sparkling which doesn't take itself too seriously. With a focus on a sherbet-esque fizz, generous strawberry/blackcurrant flavours and floral nose, it's a wine which is friendly and comforting. As great with a long lazy afternoon by the pool as with hurried late night take-out.

There's never a dull moment in the winery with AJ Hoadley. He's constantly on the hunt for something new.
Here's a lovely little Pet Nat release, built with Patio drinking in mind (hence the name!).
This is Riesling and Muscat from the Great Southern in all their fizzy, flighty, cloudy glory. It's hyper floral and crazy drinkable.
'Don't think, just drink' is the message here from Hoades and he's nailed the style.

Yoko and Andries at Brave New Wine have a particular feel for making a Pet-Nat.
This one sees a blend of Riesling and Vermentino, about half and half of each variety. It's light, crisp and as refreshing as a cool swim on a hot day, with zippy acidity and crisp, clean flavours.
No adds, either! Get ya glitter on.

He's played around with the Pet-Nat style for a few years now, Peter Dredge, but he thinks he's onto a winning formula here.
This is mostly saignee Pinot Noir from his Tasmania Pinot Noir. Not happy with the chunky, chewy bits so often found in the bottom of other Pet-Nats, Dredge has disgorged each of these bottles and topped them with still fermenting Riesling juice to create a fresh and fizzy drink just ready for guzzling.
Dredge only makes this wine in tiny quantities. If you want a crack at the hilariously named Dr. Ongo, you'll need to be quick.

Do I have to order in dozens? No, please mix it up! You can order wines in any quantity and variation you like. You can order 1 bottle or 50. We challenge you to make the ultimate mixed pack of wine!
Are there volume discounts? No, our pricing is designed to be the best in market already - no marking up and then discounting down! For very large orders (weddings, etc) we are open to negotiating though. Just give us a call.
Do we price match? Yes, within reason. Everyday low & consistent pricing is something we strongly believe in. We want our customers to feel confident they are always getting the best price. If you see a price lower somewhere else let us know and we'll consider matching it. We'll even retrospectively issue you store credit if you have already purchased from us but you see a lower price somewhere later on. Our price match policy can be seen here.
Can coupons and discounts be stacked? No, only one discount or coupon can be applied to an order at once.
I am trying to add more of a wine to my cart but it won’t let me? This means we are running low on stock of that wine. So for example, if the website will only allow you to add 3 bottles and no more, then that is all we have of that particular wine. The good news is we may be able to order more for you. Just contact us on 02 8376 8775 or hello@differentdrop.com and we'll organise the additional quantity for you.
Does Different Drop have a physical store? No. Just an a warehouse/office. We occasionally do events however, so sign up to our newsletter or follow us on instagram to stay in the loop.
Can I special order a wine you do not sell? If it’s doable, then we’ll make it happen. Just contact us directly via phone, chat or email and we’ll find out for you right away. Please note that in most cases special orders such as these will need to be in full case lots (6 or 12 bottles).
