The Treble Pinot Noir is a delectable blend of grapes from all 3 of Black Estate's vineyards.
It's a vivacious drop, with fine flavours and aromas that draw you in on first impression. Deliciously plummy, with dry peppery goodness and savoury earthiness we love to see in this variety.

2019 Greywacke Pinot Noir
Deeply coloured and oozing rich dark fruit - a virtual bowl of ripe black cherries, blackberries topped with a dollop of grandma's homemade plum jam.
An opulent interpretation of Marlborough Pinot, layered with evocative fragrances of cloves, star anise, tea smoke and a hint of gaminess. The palate is generous with ripe fruit, fine tannins and a delicious spicy finish.
A complex Pinot that's sure to be a winner for all lovers of Marlborough wines.Read more about 2019 Greywacke Pinot Noir
2019 Chard Farm Tiger Pinot Noir
The Tiger is not very tigerish; more of a bunny rabbit with well-groomed fur if truth be told.
This bunny rabbit is delicious though, a velvety, light-framed, beautifully detailed Otago Pinot Noir, with fruit coming from the cool slopes of the Tiger vineyard in Lowburn.
Though it would respond well to time in the cellar, we loved this subtle refined style at an early age. All herbs and red berries wrapped up in a perfume of floral and spice. Great stuff.Read more about 2019 Chard Farm Tiger Pinot Noir
2019 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir
Burn Cottage is one of the most celebrated Pinot Noirs in New Zealand, and this is another tremendous release, that could be enjoyed young but would be best kept in the cellar for a few years.
A biodynamic vineyard from day one, this site has been groomed to perfection to produce Pinot Noir that can rival any in the world. Many believe this to be one of the most impressive versions of Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy.
Planted in only 2003, each year the vines get older, the more intense and complex the wine gets. It's the rare combination of power and finesse that sets the Burn Cottage Pinot Noir apart.Read more about 2019 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir
2020 Jules Taylor Pinot Noir
It's increasingly hard to find well made, delightful Pinot Noir that won't bust your wallet right open. It's hard but not impossible.
This easy-drinking offering from killer winemaker, Jules Taylor, delivers a lovely glass of Marlborough Pinot Noir at a very reasonable price. She absolutely knows how to deliver a dangerously delicious Pinot.
It shows fresh berries and dark cherry notes, a hint of subtle earth and a fresh, vibrant finish. It's spot on for your mid-week Pinot Noir.Read more about 2020 Jules Taylor Pinot Noir
2019 Pyramid Valley North Canterbury Pinot Noir
The legacy of the Weersings seems in good hands with the new guard at Pyramid Valley. The new Appellations Series wines are fantastic, perhaps highlighted by this delicious and complex North Canterbury Pinot Noir.
It's a blend of four different vineyards across the Waipara region, all worked biodynamically. 30% whole bunches in the ferment and this shows in the herbal, peppery, savoury palate that has tremendous length and a fair amount of power.
The mouthfeel is fine-tuned not loose knit, and there will be more flavours to unfurl with time in the cellar or glass. For now the earth, pepper and spice dominates a Pinot that is not classically NZ in any sense.Read more about 2019 Pyramid Valley North Canterbury Pinot Noir
