2018 Craggy Range Aroha Pinot Noir
"Aroha", translated from the Māori language, means "Love".
This wine is winemaker Julian Grounds' love letter to the Pinot Noir grape. It's crafted from Craggy Range's two finest parcels of Pinot Noir fruit and is treated with the utmost care and attention every step of the winemaking process.
The fruit is picture perfect when it enters the winery. Around half of the fruit ferments as whole bunches giving the wine excellent architecture and a hint of stalky spice. The destemmed fruit gives the wine a seductive silkiness that will make you swoon.
This sits in the top echelon of all Pinot Noir in the Martinborough region.Read more about 2018 Craggy Range Aroha Pinot Noir
2016 Fromm Cuvee 'H' Pinot Noir
Fromm is one of Marlborough's premier producers who specialise in site specific Pinot Noir.
This is their top of the line Pinot Noir, named in honour of long-time head winemaker, Hätsch Kalberer.
Kalberer has always approached winemaking at Fromm with a European sensibility, looking to combine the finesse and elegance of the 'Old World' with the innovation of the 'New'.
This wine represents the pinnacle of his winemaking accomplishments. It's a beautifully constructed wine of effortless power with a long life ahead of it.Read more about 2016 Fromm Cuvee 'H' Pinot Noir
2017 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir
Burn Cottage is one of the most celebrated Pinot Noirs in New Zealand.
A biodynamic vineyard from day one, this site has been groomed to perfection to produce Pinot Noir that can rival any in the world. Many believe this to be one of the most impressive versions of Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy.
Planted in only 2003, each year the vines get older, the more intense and complex the wine gets. It's the rare combination of power and finesse that sets the Burn Cottage Pinot Noir apart.
This wine will be one of the prizes of your cellar for many years to come.Read more about 2017 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir
2016 Rippon "Rippon" Pinot Noir
The 'Rippon' Rippon Pinot Noir, as vigneron Nick Mills describes it, is the voice of his vineyard.
This is a blend of all of the old vine Pinot Noir material growing on Rippon. It's the wine that year in, year out delivers the clearest picture of what happened on this small patch of land during that growing year.
It's invariably a beautiful wine. Elegant and beautifully poised, this is usually a softer spoken style of Pinot Noir than the more rugged Tinker's Field.
Lovingly grown, expertly crafted, it's no wonder this is one of the more unique Pinot Noirs of the famous Central Otago region.Read more about 2016 Rippon "Rippon" Pinot Noir
2016 Dry River Pinot Noir
"Dry River Pinot Noir has changed, and for the better to my tastes, under the considered guidance of the lovely Dutchman (is that an oxymoron?) known as Wilco Lam. Martinborough Pinot Noir often shows a kind of dried rose perfume as a signature, and here we have exhibit a). Lighter and certainly less tannic than some recent iterations, more built on sappy acidity, though flavour is certainly not lacking. Rose petal perfume, peat, dark cherry, poached strawberry, exotic spice and pepper, a distinct ‘mineral’ feel, fine dusty tannin, some dried herb, a pinch and punch of acidity, and flavour, through a long finish. Love the perfume and quiet power."

2018 Prophet's Rock Home Vineyard Pinot Noir
The Home Block Pinot Noir burst onto the NZ wine scene when its first release, the 2005 vintage, was named in Bob Campbell's top 10 Pinot Noirs in Central Otago.
Since then it is one of the most consistently highly rated Pinot Noirs in the region.
The Home Block Pinot vines yield intense fruit, winemaker Paul Pujol mustering all he has learnt from his time at noted Oregon producer Rex Hill and in Chambolle-Musigny, Burgundy, to harness the power of his site.
It's an Old-World-Meets-New-World style of Pinot Noir. Structured, savoury and a killer in the cellar.Read more about 2018 Prophet's Rock Home Vineyard Pinot Noir
