Burn Cottage is one of the most celebrated Pinot Noirs in New Zealand, and this is another tremendous release, that could be enjoyed young but would be best kept in the cellar for a few years.
A biodynamic vineyard from day one, this site has been groomed to perfection to produce Pinot Noir that can rival any in the world. Many believe this to be one of the most impressive versions of Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy.
Planted in only 2003, each year the vines get older, the more intense and complex the wine gets. It's the rare combination of power and finesse that sets the Burn Cottage Pinot Noir apart.

"The 2022 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir is light and fine, with a delicate array of cherry, strawberry, red apple and freshly pressed linen notes. Woven throughout is sweet tobacco, graphite, white tea and finely ground pink peppercorns. In the mouth, the acidity works with the tannins to penetrate the palate with flavor, and it has an ethereal quality to it, which marks it as distinctly different from the Sauvage Pinot Noir. This is an eminently pretty Pinot Noir and comes highly recommended. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under natural cork."

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
