Chassagne-Montrachet is globally celebrated for its white wines, but its Pinot Noir can be equally compelling - especially in the hands of a meticulous grower like Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. A recent and exciting addition to his red wine lineup, this cuvée combines two distinct 1er Cru plots: one in La Boudriotte itself and another in the adjoining Les Fairendes. The Fairendes parcel boasts older vines that yield exceptionally small, concentrated grapes, adding a layer of natural depth and structure to the final blend.
The winemaking for this cuvée is highly tailored to the specifics of the two sites. PYCM utilises the older Fairendes fruit entirely as whole bunches, carefully layering them into the fermentation vat in alternating strata with the destemmed grapes from Boudriotte. In the cool, demanding 2024 vintage, this technique paid dividends. Rather than the robust, heady weight seen in warmer years, the 2024 delivers a remarkably clear, bright core of raspberry fruit accompanied by a beautiful floral lift. The natural freshness of the vintage shines through, supported by fine, persistent tannins and a distinctly savoury edge that gives the wine excellent drive.
Red Chassagne-Montrachet of this pedigree is rare enough, but factoring in the severely reduced yields of the 2024 harvest and the general scarcity of PYCM’s reds, this is a very difficult bottle to secure. While its vibrant, detailed fruit offers some early appeal, it possesses the structural grip to easily reward a patient approach, ideally spending at least five to seven years in the cellar to fully unwind.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.
What that means for you:
- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate
Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
