Description
La Croix de Brully sits in the Hautes Cotes de Beaune, up in the hills behind the main Côte, where the sites run cooler and the wines tend to show a bit more crunch and lift. The 2022 season was warmer across Burgundy, but the elevation here helped keep things in check, giving Chardonnay with ripe flavour but still plenty of energy.
The fruit is farmed sustainably and handled with a pretty light touch once it gets to the cellar. Fermentation and ageing are mostly in older oak, just enough to round the edges without layering in overt flavour. You get a calm, mineral driven style because of it something that sits comfortably in the middle weight zone rather than trying to mimic the richer wines lower down the slope.
There’s ripe citrus, a bit of stone fruit, and a nice sense of clarity through the palate, with the acidity carrying the wine rather than any oak influence. A smart pick if you like Burgundy on the fresher side.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
