Perched just above the Huet cellars, the Le Mont vineyard is one of the estate’s most iconic sites. Its green clay and flinty soils consistently yield wines of poise and serious intensity. In 2022, a warmer, riper season brought generous fruit, and this Demi-Sec hits a beautiful balance between richness and tension.
Sitting just off-dry, the wine opens with classic Chenin aromas, ripe pear, baked apple, and citrus blossom, with a subtle dusting of spice and flint. The palate is finely tuned, with juicy orchard fruit held in check by Huet’s trademark acidity and mineral drive. That interplay of texture, flavour, and freshness is what makes this style so versatile at the table, particularly with modern Asian dishes, rich seafood, or creamy white meats.
As always with Huet, the craftsmanship is exceptional, and while it’s drinking well now, the structure and focus here make it a great candidate for cellaring over the next 15–20 years. A benchmark Vouvray from one of the region’s most consistent hands.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
