Sourced from the prestigious Montestefano cru, this Riserva is a classic representation of one of Barbaresco’s most powerful and structured vineyard sites.
This small but mighty 3.9-hectare vineyard, facing south on clay-limestone soils, consistently yields Nebbiolo of depth and strength, and the 2020 vintage is no exception. Fermented in steel at 30°C with a generous 28-day maceration on skins, followed by 30 months in large oak casks and 9 months in bottle, it offers a wine of concentration and longevity.
In the glass, you’ll find ripe red fruit layered with hints of spice and tobacco, balanced by firm yet refined tannins. The nose shows depth and maturity, while the palate is plush, full-bodied and persistent - traits Montestefano fans know and love.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
