The 2021 Barbaresco Asili from Cascina Luisin is a beautifully composed, quietly confident expression of one of the region’s most prized sites. Asili tends to yield wines that are more graceful than forceful, and this vintage from Roberto Minuto - made with long, gentle maceration and aged in large Slavonian oak botti - doesn’t overstate a thing. It’s classic in every sense.
Fruit comes from 60-year-old vines on the western slope of Asili, where slightly richer clay soils and a touch of afternoon sun combine to give a Barbaresco with both perfume and depth. The wine opens shyly but grows steadily in the glass - red berries, rose petals, orange zest and subtle earthy spice all moving in harmony. Tannins are firm but resolved, and the finish carries that unmistakable Asili lift.
There’s no winemaking wizardry here, just patient farming and an old-school cellar approach that puts vineyard first. You can drink this with food now, but it’s built to reward a long rest in the cellar.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
