Sigurd Wines
Named for his grandfather who emigrated to Australia in the early 20th century, Sigurd winemaker Dan Graham is a second-generation vigneron who started his own label in 2012, while working for one of the larger names in the Barossa Valley.
Dan's style is to make wines that he likes to drink and share with friends. All wines are fermented utilising natural yeasts, no fining and zero additions besides a small amount of sulphur before going to bottle..
From getting tiny quantities of contra fruit for his subversive and semi-secret (from his employer) first vintage back in 2012, Dan now sources fruit from growers across South Australia, and his range of wines has grown exponentially year on year.
