Description

Delinquente owner/winemaker Greg Grigoriou describes the Pretty Boy Rosato as a wine with "the swagger of Mick Jagger and the looks of Jussy T."

This is Nero d'Avola, grown in the Riverland - a warm, dry climate where the variety thrives.

Greg makes it in a pale, dry style. It's a fun, bright and moreish pink wine built to accompany good times.

93 points - "A lovely wine of balance here, making for ease and drinkability. Strawberries and cream, watermelon rind, lemon zest. A nod to realms of the tropics in pawpaw and underripe mango. It's delicious, bone dry and primed for summer drinking." - Katrina Butler (Halliday Wine Companion)

Delicious

Lovely pale, dry Rose (exactly the way I like it) - easy drinking, label is ace!

After crushing, the fruit was left to soak on skins for 6 hours, giving the wine it’s the lovely blush pink colour. The nose charges at you with candied strawberry, rose petal, and that ubiquitous but undeniable strawberries and cream aroma that just keeps going and going – Campino lolly anyone? On the palate, a certain elegance – these fruit forward flavours persist, while the classic Nero d’Avola acidity comes in to keep things fresh and crunchy; evolving the flavours into a slightly underripe stonefruit spectrum – white peach or nectarine.

Wild fermented in stainless steel, Nero d’Avola is a native Sicilian variety that is perfect suited to the hot, dry climate of the Riverland. An incredibly versatile variety, while many know Nero d’Avola for the big bold reds of Sicily, with its sour cherry and naturally high acidity, we feel it is the perfect variety for Rose.

Delinquente

Con-Greg Grigoriou makes interesting yet smashable wines from some unique fruit growing in the Riverlands.

Organically farmed in one of Australia's 'engine room' regions, these warm-climate alternative varieties offer a much more sustainable long-term proposition for our hotter, drier regions. Greg is right at the front of the pack of Australian producers championing these varieties.

His wines are all about fun times and chilled vibes. Bright, energetic and full of personality, these wines offer a great entry point for people looking to explore emerging varieties at a great price.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
