Description

"If there is a poster child for the wines of the ‘New Spain’, then Envínate is a strong candidate."
- Luis Gutierrez (The Wine Advocate)

Envínate’s Palo Blanco Las Molinas is a breathtaking white from the Valle de la Orotava in Tenerife, crafted from century-old Listán Blanco vines. While typical commercial whites are stripped of character, this single-vineyard beauty is allowed to run completely unforced. The team aged it in a 20-year-old Italian oak foudre, letting it complete a full malolactic fermentation to capture incredible depth while keeping its volcanic identity perfectly intact.

The 2024 vintage was a brilliant year for Tenerife whites, delivering homogeneous ripeness backed by spectacular, electric freshness. The winemaking team kept their hands off, letting the wine finish with an incredibly low pH and heaps of natural acidity. Even as a baby, this release shows off a magnificent structural framework that is built to age beautifully, trading the sweet fruit of standard whites for a deeply complex, savory experience.

It shows a bright, pale colour in the glass, opening with a distinct struck-match reduction that gives way to dry herbs, white flowers, and spice. The palate is vibrant, pungent, and dry, matching its citrusy core with a strong, crunchy mineral texture and a salty finish. It is long, complex, and deeply refreshing.

This is a world-class, singular volcanic white wine.  Extremely limited.

"It is vibrant and pungent, with great depth and complexity. It is long, dry and tasty, with a strong mineral sensation in the finish that is crunchy and salty. This should age magnificently in bottle."
- Luis Gutiérrez (The Wine Advocate)

99 points - "The 2024 Palo Blanco Las Molinas comes from a year with a homogeneous and normal production and also homogeneous ripeness. The wine is healthy and clean, and it achieved very good ripeness and kept very good freshness. It matured in a 20-year-old Italian foudre where it went through full malolactic. It's still a baby, with a bright and pale color and a slightly reductive nose, which I guess is a bit dizzy from the recent bottling. It has notes of struck match and a core of dry herbs, spices and flowers. It comes in at 12% alcohol, with a pH of 3.2 and 7.32 grams of acidity. It is vibrant and pungent, with great depth and complexity. It is long, dry and tasty, with a strong mineral sensation in the finish that is crunchy and salty. This should age magnificently in bottle. 2,000 bottles produced, a little less than in 2023, but they used more of this for the regular Palo Blanco blend. This It was bottled in July 2025.

I tasted the bottled 2024s (and the bottled 2023 Migan) from Tenerife with Roberto Santana from Envínate in the middle of their 2025 harvest. 2024 was dry, similar to 2023, with uneven sprouting because of a warm winter, and they had to do a green harvest to correct that. There weren't any heat waves during the summer or harvest, and the harvest was early but not as early as 2023. It was a small crop for reds but very good—quality and quantity—for whites, all of them put through 100% malolactic. 2024 is the best year for La Santa. In Taganana, the style of the reds resembles 2021 or 2022, and the whites might resemble the style of 2023 but with more freshness.

In Tenerife, they work 18 hectares of the 22.5 hectares they control, and they own around 7.5 hectares, with three to five of them in Taganana. In 2024, they produced close to 80,000 bottles, a little less than in 2023." - Luis Gutiérrez (The Wine Advocate)

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
