Chassagne’s reds often live in the shadow of its famous whites, but at their best they can be every bit as compelling. La Boudriotte sits just below Morgeot and has a reputation for producing Pinots with both structure and generosity, a style that balances the warmth of the site with real finesse.
For Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, whose reds make up only a small fraction of his output, this cuvée is always worth hunting down. The 2023 shows the hallmark freshness of the vintage alongside ripe, dark fruit, spice and an earthy thread that keeps things firmly grounded in Chassagne. Tannins are fine but persistent, giving the wine both drinkability and ageing potential.
Production is minimal, and like all of PYCM’s top reds, it’s a Burgundy that speaks more about place than winemaking. A confident, quietly powerful release that collectors will want to tuck away for the years ahead.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
