Description
Les Chenevottes is a seriously prestigious bit of dirt. Located right near the northern border of Chassagne, it sits incredibly close to the legendary Le Montrachet itself. Pierre-Yves crafts this from three distinct plots totaling just 0.62 hectares - one he bought back in 2002, and two inherited from his father-in-law, Jean-Marc Morey. The vines here were planted in 1960 and sit on almost no topsoil, just a measly 15cm of earth before the roots hit pure limestone rock.
In the glass, it shows a pale, luminous colour and an immediate, steely energy on the nose. True to the 2023 vintage, the wine is incredibly fresh and transparent. There's a perfect balance across the palate between the ripe, slightly green-edged orchard fruit and a very subtle hint of high-quality wood that offers great backing without ever dominating.
This isn't a front-loaded white Burgundy; it is a wine that builds and expands toward the back of the palate, showing amazing structural tension. While it is vibrant and flat-out delicious right now, Jasper Morris notes that with a little bottle age, the aromas here can shift remarkably close to Montrachet itself. Let it sleep until 2028, and it will reward you handsomely through to 2034.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.
What that means for you:
- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate
Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
