Bright, pure and pulsing with energy, François Cotat’s Caillottes is no ordinary Sancerre. Sourced from the domaine’s younger vines grown on Sancerre’s famously stony caillottes soils, layers of chalk and white rock, it delivers an expression that is more immediate than Cotat’s grander cuvées, yet still cut from the same impeccable cloth.
The 2023 is a stunning vintage for this wine. Lemons and white florals lead the charge, underscored by ginger, crushed rock and a touch of white pepper. The palate walks the tightrope between richness and precision with silky stone fruits meet a laser beam of citrus acidity and mineral cut.
Previously bottled as “Jeunes Vignes,” this cuvée has evolved into a serious wine in its own right. It offers a more accessible entry into the Cotat style, but with the same sense of depth, purity, and unmistakable terroir signature. Delicious now, but with the bones to age gracefully.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
