Dave Fletcher’s not your average Barbaresco winemaker. Aussie-born and now firmly part of the Langhe furniture, he’s spent the past decade earning serious respect in one of Italy’s most traditional wine regions. Recta Pete is where that experience really comes together – a blend of fruit from three great Cru vineyards, all handled with a light touch and a clear head.
It’s all destemmed, fermented wild, and aged for two years in old oak – no tricks, no fuss. The result is classic Barbaresco, but with a bit more give in the structure and a sense of calm confidence. There’s perfume, spice, red fruit, fine tannin – all the right pieces, just sitting in balance.
For fans of Nebbiolo, this is a bit of a no-brainer. It’s serious enough to age, but approachable enough to enjoy young with a decent decant and something good on the table.

One of the better barbaresco going around at the moment. It’s both approachable now (with a good decant) or for the cellar, depending on how you like your Nebbiolo. Great vintage and great value as well.

newish to nebb but this definitely scores for a very brilliant expression with the expected complex autumn leaf and raspberry nose and sublime mouth experience with beautiful lingering tannins. His starderi is next in line.....

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
