Description
Domaine de la Cras is one of the most exciting young domaines in Burgundy right now. It’s city-owned land (yep, Dijon owns it), but it’s been handed to Marc Soyard - a Bizot alum who’s brought serious intent and organic farming to what could’ve just been another regional label.
‘Montrecul’ is a single site just outside Dijon, up high on limestone soils, and the quality of Pinot Noir here is way beyond what you’d expect from a Bourgogne. Whole bunches, wild ferments, minimal sulphur - the 2022 has all the brightness and tension you want, with red fruit, a bit of herbal edge, and really fine tannin. Nothing showy, just a wine with proper shape and drive.
This is the kind of bottle that Burgundy lovers should be jumping on - proper farming, smart winemaking, and a site that overdelivers in a big way. The label says Bourgogne, but the wine is playing in far more serious territory.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
