Grèves is one of Beaune’s most respected premiers crus, and in 2023 Caroline Morey has made a wine that feels both grounded in the vineyard and lifted by the freshness of the vintage. The site’s mix of sandy, gravelly soils usually gives Pinot of perfume and energy, and that’s very much on show here – a finely structured red that has detail and drive without being heavy or overworked.
Caroline’s approach is as ever measured and thoughtful, favouring gentle handling of the fruit and oak that sits in the background rather than the foreground. The 2023 growing season, with its combination of ripeness and lively acidity, gave her the building blocks to make a wine that will drink beautifully in its youth but also carry on for years.
Production is small, as with all of Caroline’s cuvées, and bottles rarely last long on the market. For those chasing Burgundy that marries precision with quiet power, this is a release to move on quickly.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
