About This Wine
Easily the most approachable Chardonnay for any day of the week drinking here from Scorpo.
The Aubaine is packed with white peach, juicy pears, granny smith apples and spice on the nose. The palate starts lean and citrussy, yet opens to softer melon and vanilla undertones. Still Scorpo though, with that classic chalky finish that their Chardonnays exhibit across their tiers.
A great way to delve into Scorpo without breaking the bank. Think of it as your gateway wine, leading you down a dangerous and fairly addictive road...
The Scorpo family has wine in their blood.
Their heritage is littered with vino from Sicily, Sardinia and now the fertile soils of Mornington Peninsula. The wines are all grown on the family owned estate, meticulously managed and made by the patriarch, Paul.
Paul focuses primarily on premium Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris with a little Shiraz produced also. The wines are made in small quantities always put quality first and foremost.
These are elegant cool-climate wines made with integrity.
