Description
It's not often you see whole bunches used in Cab Sauv, but the Karibib Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon shows how it can work really well.
Coming from a vineyard at 1,000ft asl in the region of Stellenbosch, just east of Cape Town in South Africa, the grapes ripen slowly and carefully. Around 75% whole bunch were used in the wine, with the remaining grapes placed on top of the cap. Maturation in neutral oak then followed for ten months.
A savoury, stemmy character is evident right from the start, which you often get in Pinot but also seems at home here. Red and black fruits, violets and some herbal characters lead to a rich and delicious palate, while alcohol is kept in check. Yummy.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
