Description
Jean-François Ganevat has a knack for coaxing extraordinary character out of Savagnin, and Antide is one of his most striking examples. Made from old vines grown on Jura’s limestone and marl soils, the wine is aged sous voile for a few years, picking up that oxidative complexity the region is famous for, but with Ganevat’s trademark finesse and freshness.
The 2020 shows layers of citrus peel, dried herbs, almonds and spice, with a salty, mineral drive running through it. It’s savoury and complex but never heavy, with energy that keeps it lively from start to finish. As with all his wines, the detail is remarkable, the balance spot on, and the personality unmistakable.
Savagnin in this style is built for food, and Antide really sings with Comté, roast poultry, or mushroom dishes. It’s already impressive now, but like the best of Jura, it will happily age and evolve in the cellar for many years.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
