François Cotat doesn’t make a lot of wine, but what he does produce tends to stop people in their tracks. The 2017 Cuvée Paul is a rare creation, only made in exceptional years from the ripest parcels of his legendary La Grande Côte vineyard, and named in tribute to his father. This is the most opulent, ageworthy wine in the Cotat lineup - built for the long haul, yet already profoundly moving in its youth.
Expect layers of citrus peel, lemon oil and passionfruit, with hints of ginger, cardamom and anise peeking through the chalky core. It’s rich and textured, with a faint touch of residual sugar adding volume and warmth, all tied together by Cotat’s trademark laser acidity.
This is Sauvignon Blanc for those who’ve grown tired of the ordinary. Not just one of the Loire’s great whites, but a white wine to rival the best of Alsace, Burgundy and beyond. Incredibly limited and capable of aging for decades.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
