Silkman

The husband and wife team of Liz and Shaun Silkman run a tight ship in the Hunter Valley. 

Since their debut Silkman vintage in 2013, they have made some of the most awarded wines in their region.  The Silkmans bring an impressive depth of experience, being locals who've worked in the Hunter Valley wine industry for over a decade, balancing their roles at First Creek Wines with their own label.

Silkman Wines focuses on what the Hunter Valley does best. From their vibrant Semillon, sourced from the sandy soils around Pokolbin, to their elegant Shiraz, made with fruit from the region's higher, clay-rich slopes. Their winemaking approach is marked by a dedication to quality over quantity, producing small batches of high-quality premium wine at very reasonable prices.

Their wines are crafted to be both approachable and age-worthy, and true to regional style. With multiple awards, including winning the 2015 James Halliday Chardonnay Challenge, Silkman Wines a leader of the modern Hunter Valley, set to produce some of the region's best wines over the coming years.
