Description
"From a dry growing season these 2024’s have indeed grown into detailed, complex and balanced wines of structured depth and lifted vibrancy."
- Dan Standish on the 2024 vintage
The 2024 Standish release is a sensational suite of wines for this elite Barossa Valley artisan.
All hyperbole aside, this is as good as Shiraz gets from this part of the world. These are intensely powerful, impossibly concentrated, thunderous wines with the balance of an Olympic gymnast.
In short, if you're a serious collector of the world's finest wines, these deserve a place in your cellar. Buy this pack - it features a bottle of each of three of the cuvees. Cellar these wines. Watch them become legend for decades to come.

2024 Standish Wine Co The Schubert Theorem Shiraz
ONLY AVAILABLE IN THIS PACK
Sourced from prized, low-yielding sites along the hallowed Roennfeldt Road strip in Marananga, the Schubert Theorem is a total powerhouse that pours like the blackest midnight. The dry 2024 growing season turned up the concentration across the region, but Dan’s secret weapon remains the use of a concrete egg alongside traditional oak.
The concrete vessel acts like a centre of calm and clarity, locking in a core of pure, unforced freshness that keeps the wine's massive opulence in check. It is a monumental, lavishly layered Shiraz stuffed with blue fruits, pomegranate, turned earth and a heavy dusting of garam masala spice.
Despite the sheer density of flavour and the puffs of dusty wood, the wine feels remarkably compact, seamless and controlled. Long, sinewy tannins counteract the dark cherry liqueur richness with brilliant textural grip. It is old-school Barossa luxury done with elite modern precision.

"Yes! This is an unbelievable wine... It preserves freshness and purity within the wine, like the eye of a storm, a center of calm and clarity in what is otherwise a maelstrom of dense flavor and texture"
- Erin Larkin (The Wine Advocate)
2024 Standish Wine Co The Lamella Shiraz
Dan Standish has always done things his own way, but what he pulls off with Lamella from the ancient Stonegarden Vineyard in Eden Valley is always special. The high-altitude site gives this a completely different framework to his valley-floor gear - there’s a distinct levity and cooler poise here. He goes all-in with 100% whole-bunch fermentation, using the stalks to build a gravelly, highly structural wine that you feel just as much as you taste.
The compressed 2024 season has turned out an incredibly compact, tense, ink-stained core. The perfume hits you immediately, shifting between dark florals, game meat, black pepper and a heavy lick of liquid graphite.
It is remarkably long and succulent on the finish, lashing flavours of mulberry, rich cherry and bramble against a serious wall of ferrous, mouth-coating tannins. There's a subtle Italianate herbal edge alongside licorice and fennel that really takes this out of standard Barossa territory. It's a stellar release of cool-climate Shiraz that shows exactly why this is one of the most sought-after Shiraz in the country.

"This is a wine that you feel as much as you taste and smell. The tannins linger on the palate and help the flavors remain firmly wedged in the memory. I can still taste from one sip to the next; the bridge between mouthfuls doesn't need to be bridged by memory—it is viscerally there."

2024 Standish Wine Co The Standish Shiraz
Greenock is the spiritual heart of Dan’s lineup, and of the Standish range, this cuvee is probably the most 'classic Barossa'. The early, dry 2024 season produced tiny, concentrated berries, prompting Dan to up the whole bunches to 50%. The stalks build a serious architectural frame that reins in the natural clip of the fruit.
This is a firm, rich and powerfully savoury beast that captures the muscular shape the western ridges grow from the ground up. It hits with sweet paprika, brick dust, black cherry and thick licorice, moving away from the soft fruit of recent wet years.
The mouthfeel is dense and resolute, texturally clunking through a deep mesh of dark plum and choc-cherry. It carries a robust, old-school presence that demands cellar time, yet it feels remarkably fresh, much like the legendary 2018s.

"This is ever the wine in the lineup that shows a clear sense of place. It tastes like the power and the shape that the Barossa effortlessly grows from the ground up. It is impressive and impactful."

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.
What that means for you:
- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate
Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.
**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
