The 2017 version of this wine was one of our most popular Shiraz bargains of the year. After being sold out for a few months, the brand spanking new 2018 vintage just arrived and it's another knockout.
The 2018 season was much more of a 'typical' Barossa vintage, yielding wines of immense power and concentration. There will be some monumental wines from this part of the world released over the coming months - this just the first of many great reds from our most famous wine growing region.
The 2018 Spinifex Syrah shows gorgeous black plum and violet notes, a hint of clove spice and silky slippery tannins. The finesse of Peter Schell's winemaking on show for all to see.
