The 2022 harvest saw the best rainfall and Riesling growing conditions going back to 2017. John classes it as a top vintage for the variety and one that will show beautifully on release as well with age - a return to a vintage of finesse and purity that he constantly searches for in his quest to produce South Australia's most excellent Rieslings.

The No. 11 Mosaik sees John venture into new territory in his exploration of Riesling. This wine hails from Eden Valley fruit picked during his highly-decorated 2021 harvest and has been sleeping in oak for a year. The use of exotic yeasts and this dramatic extended time in barrel were experimental ventures for John that have paid dividends. This is a Riesling with sublime texture, exhilarating length and an intoxicating perfume. It's a beautiful mosaic of mismatched components intricately woven together to reveal one of John's finest wines to date. Don't miss it, it's extremely limited and is undoubtedly one of the best wines in this line-up.
