Peter Dredge is well regarded as one of the country's most intuitive and knowledgeable winemakers. He doesn't take himself too seriously. His wines, on the other hand, are dead serious.
His outstanding Dr. Edge Pinot Noir has quickly become one of Tasmania's hottest releases of the year. The 2019 release is absolutely cracking.
The 2019 is an assemblage of different vineyards than usual, but Dredge's signature style and deft touch with this variety still rings true. With fruit far more scarce in Tasmania during the 2019 harvest, Dredge has a limited quantity of this release available. There are only 200 dozen in existence.
The single-vineyard wines won't be produced this year. This is it. One Dr. Edge Pinot in 2019. Don't miss out on one of the Tassie Pinot releases of the year!

2019 Dr. Edge Tasmania Pinot Noir
"It’s light and lucid, a bright cherry sweetness layered with spice and a bit of wetsuit style reduction, and a little fresh mint and rosy perfume... It’s a very good thing to drink."
- Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)
