This pack celebrates six exceptional Australian female winemakers.

These wines come from all corners of the country, showcasing a wide range of varieties and winemaking styles.

  • 2023 Rieslingfreak No. 4 Eden Valley Riesling
  • 2022 Chalmers Mother Block White
  • 2023 Dormilona Orenji
  • 2021 Unico Zelo Halcyon Days Nero d'Avola
  • 2022 Billy Button The Alluring Tempranillo
  • 2022 Reed Wines Knife Edge Shiraz

2023 Rieslingfreak No. 4 Eden Valley Riesling

Belinda Hughes loves Eden Valley Riesling. The fruit is sourced from three vineyards between Eden Valley and Flaxman’s Valley.

It's made in a dry style, looking to capture the sublime characters of these brilliant vineyards. The quality is clear, the expression is pure.

This is Eden Valley Riesling in top form. A deadset bargain for any Riesling fan.

2022 Chalmers Mother Block White

This great value dry white from Chalmers shows off the best bits of four different white varieties - mostly Vermentino, with additions of Ansonica, Falanghina and Pecorino.

All of these Italian varieties grow at the heart of the Chalmers Merebin Vineyard, in what they dub the "Mother Block". They get co-fermented together in stainless steel, and combine to great a gorgeous dry, crisp and bright wine.

Think citrus, florals and hits of white stone fruit. A great wine to keep a couple of around the house for sharing with friends.

2023 Dormilona Orenji

This is the perfect 'training-wheels' wine if you're just getting into skin-contact white wines, brought to you by Josephine Perry at Dormilona.

Orenji is a cheeky little number. A blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, hand-harvested from an organic vineyard in Margaret River. Jo let the fruit hang out on skins for two weeks before pressing it and putting it to bed in both barrel and ceramic egg.

She wants this to be a friendly style of orange wine, not a big, scary, chewy number.

It's something you can knock back without thinking too much about. and if keen to get your head around skinsy whites it a terrific place start.

2021 Unico Zelo Halcyon Days Nero d'Avola

It's only been on the Australian radar for a relatively short time, but Laura Carter of Unico Zelo has picked up the Nero d'Avola ball and is running with it at pace.

After four years spent scouring the Riverland for a Nero site worthy of an individual bottling, the Carters found a lovely vineyard in Barmera, Riverland, boasting iron-rich sandy soils.

This is a finer-boned expression of the variety than the Pipe Dream - perhaps more 'Pinot-esque' version of Nero and a really delicious thing to drink. Bring it along to your next gathering, it'll be the life of the party.

2022 Billy Button The Alluring Tempranillo

Jo Marsh's Billy Button 'The Alluring' Tempranillo is a classic cool-climate Temp with a little attitude.

Jo selects two parcels of fruit each year from two different vineyards in her beloved Alpine Valleys. One parcel has fruit which is a little brighter, the other a little more savoury. Together they create just the right amount of 'allure' in the wine, a Tempranillo which is ready to go, right now, whenever you are.

Made in typically small amounts (as is the Billy Button way), you'll need to be quick if you want to give this a whirl.

2022 Reed Wines Knife Edge Shiraz

Sierra Reed has spent years as a vagabond as she travelled the world soaking up as much wine knowledge as possible.

She has settled in Touquay, intent on crafting small batches of intricate wines with as few adornments as possible. This is her Knife Edge Shiraz sourced from the Best's Surgarloaf Creek vineyard in the Grampians. She knows her way around a Victorian Shiraz from her days at Mount Langi Ghiran and it shows in this release.

A deft touch is applied here. It's a supple, feathery style of Shiraz replete with clean blue fruits and shot with spice. It's a wine built for the lovers of more elegant, streamlined reds, more about subtle pleasures than raw power.

    Women in Wine Winner

Hard to fault any mixed packs from DD, especially at this price. All their packs are well curated no matter the budget available, and this was no exception. Quality on all fronts again.

This is cracking mixed pack from the DD crew. I'm still working my way through a couple of the bottles, but the Wahine pinot, Bondar Rose and Billy button have been outstanding!! I would buy all of them again.. amazing value for money!

    Delicious and interesting selection!

Really enjoyed this pack. Was not a fan of the fiano sadly but every other bottle drank very well. The Dormilona Tinto was the dark horse, great intro to low intervention wine. Also really enjoyed the Pinot noir, pret-a-blanc and Rose. Happy to see women winemakers being represented in this way.

We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.
  • The price match cannot be used in conjunction with a coupon or one-off deal we are offering. The idea is for you to get the best price in the market so if that is already achieved through a coupon then we won't price match on top of that.
  • We don't price match clearance or fire sales.
  • We’ll match the listed price as long as it is a legitimate offer and the competing store is actually able to fulfil the order (they have stock or more stock is en route). Essentially we won't price match cheeky vendors listing wines they have no hope of actually getting for you...
  • It must be a publicly listed price. We won't match a price that has been achieved through a coupon/cash-back arrangement, or through a non-advertised offer over the phone or otherwise.
  • It is limited to a reasonable retail quantity.

We'll treat each price match request on its merit and reserve the right to refuse where we deem fit. For example, particularly rare wines, from non-trust-worthy vendors, in circumstances we deem illegitimate or if we feel our policy is being unfairly taken advantage of.

At the end of the day, we'll look after you and use common sense to ensure you're getting the best price, please just don't take the p%$$!

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

If you want to bulk order gifts or if you have any trouble please email hello@differentdrop.com or call and we can try and help.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
