Ricky Evans has spent the last decade establishing himself as one of Tasmania’s most exciting winemakers, with his Woodlawn label marking the next step in that journey.
Best known for his work under Two Tonne Tasmania, Ricky has expanded his focus to crafting single-vineyard expressions that showcase the unique personality of Tasmanian terroir. This Cuvée 231 is his take on premium Tasmanian sparkling, blending multiple vintages from across his vineyard sites to create a wine of complexity, elegance, and pure drinkability.
Crafted using the traditional method, this sparkling is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced from Ricky’s carefully managed vineyards in the Tamar Valley. Aged on lees for extended time before release, it brings layers of texture and depth while retaining the cool-climate acidity that makes Tasmanian sparkling so exciting.
On the nose, brioche, citrus zest, and fresh green apple leap from the glass, supported by a fine bead of bubbles. The palate is crisp yet creamy, with flavours of lemon curd, white peach, and roasted almonds, leading into a long, mineral-driven finish.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
