Description

This is one of the best value premium sparklings in the country.

It's a non-vintage blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown mostly on the Stefano Lubiana biodynamic vineyard in Tasmania.

There's a mixture of oak and stainless used during fermentation and a portion of the base wine is allowed to go through malo, adding subtle layers of detail to the finished wine.

It combines class and complexity with effortless drinkability - a clear example of winemaker Steve's craftsmanship in sparkling production.

92 Points - "A beautifully expressive chardonnay pinot noir blend that upholds the tension of the 2011 base vintage and deepens it with the red apple fruit and toasty, spicy complexity of '09 and '10 reserves, half of which have been aged in large Austrian oak barrels. The current blend is a 2013 disgorged cuvee released in 2014, making for a particularly toasty and honeyed style, finished off neatly with less than 8g/l dosage." - James Halliday (Australian Wine Companion)

    Glorious, toasty sparkling from Tassie. Rivals the french stuff 3 times the price. My new go-to for special occasions or an evening on the couch. Bloody gorgeous.

Our NV Brut Reserve is a multi-vintage blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that incorporates aged reserves of wine specially prepared for the production of this, our house style of sparkling. The natural viticulture and low yields along with our reserve wine creates a sparkling wine that tastes so different - fruit-pure, intense, rich, creamy and complex.
Best enjoyed for any occasion, it is a great all-rounder sparkling wine.
