About The Wine
The NV Champagne Diebolt-Vallois Tradition is sourced from the estate vineyards in Cramant, Cuis and Epernay, showing fine aromatics.
This champagne expresses the characteristics of its fruit, being made from the major Champagne varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Showing subtle hints of citrus, apple, red fruits and brioche, with minerality shining through due to the chalky soils found in the Cote de Blanc. The champagne is incredibly bright thanks to its ripe fruit and acidity, which enlivens the palate.
While this is Diebolt-Vallois' entry-level champagne, it shows lots of character and is ideal as an aperitif or with a light meal.
About Champagne Diebolt-Vallois
The Diebolt and Vallois families have been farming in the Champagne region since the 19th and 15th centuries respectively. The estate is run by Jacques Diebolt and Nadia Vallois, who are now joined in the business by their children Arnaud and Isabelle. In 1978 the family began constructing a cellar and then a winery.
Champagne Diebolt-Vallois produces six distinct champagnes: Tradition, a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier blend; Rose, from the three grapes; Blanc de Blancs from Chardonnay; Vintage blanc de blancs; Prestige blanc de blancs; and their "jewel", Fleur de Passion, a superb blanc de blancs from grand cru vineyards.
