The Pret-a-Blanc is the all-rounder in the VS&B range. Comprised of a magnificently fresh blend of Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and some seasoning from Sylvaner, careful blending and attention to detail has taken this textural, Alsatian-inspired blend to a wonderful place.
Whether it's accompanying food or flying solo, the Pret-a-Blanc is wine jam-packed with charisma that will suit all occasions.
2023 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Beechworth Chardonnay
This relatively new addition to the VS&B fold is made with a blend of fruit from two different vineyards - the Brunnen & Stanley Vineyards.
It's simply stunning drinking - fresh and beautifully bright, long and fine, yet keeping a gorgeous texture in the palate entwined with just a hint of nuttiness.
Only a few dozen were made, so if you're keen to try this beautiful expression of Beechworth Chardonnay, we suggest you hop in quick.
2022 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Grauburgunder
This is the way Pinot Gris should be treated.
The Grauburgunder (German for Pinot Gris) spends a good time on skins before being pressed, allowing the natural colour and tannin of the variety to shine.
It's an excellent first crack at the wine style. There's loads of fresh stone fruit and florals to be enjoyed, yet the flavours are fresh and crisp, with clean acidity and plenty of definition.
So many producers are coming out with amber wines at the moment, and this is one of the most successful releases we've seen. Simply delectable.
2021 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Pret A Rouge
Tessa Brown and Jeremy Schmolzer's Pret-a-Rouge is a blend of Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese sourced from Beechworth and the Alpine Valleys.
Don't think too hard on the mechanics of the blend, this is made for ease of drinking and somehow these strange bed-fellows just work. It's built to be readily approachable and versatile, and it truly nails the brief.
If you are looking to get familiar with these two rising stars of Victorian wine, the Pret-a-Rouge is the best place to start.
2023 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Barbera
The wine built for a good time, not a long time. This is one of the fun-loving lighter reds in the VS&B stable and it's a very friendly little wine.
This spanking Barbera from the King Valley that explodes with red fruit aromas, and smoothly drinks like a melting raspberry ripple ice cream.
It's a seriously delicious, uncomplicated, chillable wine that is very much in the modern red wine zeitgeist.
2022 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Beechworth Syrah
Tessa and Jeremy realised that they've been working a lot more closely with small parcels of fruit from various vineyards around Beechworth, and it just made natural sense to them to make a range to hero the varieties that do so well in this region.
This Shiraz is part of the line-up, made in tiny volumes from specifically selected small sites.
It isn't a Shiraz about out and out power, but one about grace and flavour - peppery spice, filled with berries ranging from red to blue to black, and simply stunning to drink.

Ordering
We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
