Tim Knappstein has clocked over 60 vintages, and frankly, he has nothing left to prove. Yet, year after year, he drops 'The Dagger' - a wine that consistently embarrasses Pinots twice the price.
Sourced from a mix of prime Adelaide Hills sites (Gumeracha, Forreston, Lobethal and Balhannah), the 2025 vintage was a welcome return to form, delivering warm, sunny days and healthy yields after the lean 2024 season.
The winemaking here is all about capturing that sunshine. The fruit is destemmed but not crushed, leaving a high percentage of whole berries for fermentation. Crucially, the wine sees no oak influence, resting solely in stainless steel to lock in the primary fruit character.
It is packed with black cherry, exotic spice and supple fresh berries. While there is a fine grain of tannin providing structure, the driving force is that juicy, bright acidity. If you ask us, it's an absolute steal and one of the country's best value Pinots. A real no brainer here - great buying.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
