Description
The team at Wine For the People (Unico Zelo's excellent wine content YouTube Channel) has produced this little cheeky red wine as a bit of a tip of the cap to the vibrant Tavel Rosé style. This light red made from Syrah/Shiraz is here for a good time, not a long time.
Utilizing Adelaide Hills Syrah sourced from a previous Jimmy Watson-winning vineyard, they made this in a similar style to that of a Beaujolais Nouveau. Employing carbonic maceration for five days followed by morning crushing of whole bunches and afternoon pressing, the juice underwent wild fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where it patiently rested until its bottling in January.
The resulting wine is incredibly fresh, giving you flavours of ripe raspberries, apples, and red cherry, complemented by subtle Syrah-esque spices in the background.
This was a super limited once-off production. Just one barrel made and we have just five dozen available!

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
