Julian Langworthy’s Sheoak Vineyard Cabernet has long been a favourite within the Nocturne range, and the 2023 vintage takes things to another level. It was a slow, even season - cool mornings, mild days, and the kind of ripening window winemakers dream of. From one of the best makers of the variety in the country comes a Cabernet that’s refined, deeply structured, and effortlessly elegant.
Hand-picked from the best part of the Sheoak Vineyard slope, the fruit spent 14 days on skins before heading to barrel for 16 months, with 25% new oak in the mix. The result is silky, medium-bodied Cabernet with precision, depth, and incredible balance. The kind of wine that’s delicious now but built to reward patience.
Margaret River Cabernet is always impressive, but this is something special - fine-tuned, expressive, and unmistakably from one of Australia’s best regions for the variety.

"A classy Cabernet with all manner of heady aromas and flavours. Expect a combo of mulberries, blackberries, and currants, freshly ground coffee beans, and iodine, plus lots of menthol. There are more savoury inputs of nori and tapenade, with cedary oak just-so. Fuller-bodied yet beautifully modulated with exceptional tannins."

I have been a fan of Cab sauv for years.. I love it.
This one is great. Big, fresh, beautifully balanced wine ... absolutely delicious and missing that OTT mouth puckering overdose of tannin that sometimes marrs otherwise great Cabs.
My wine of the season. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
