The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot from Deep Woods Estate is a cracking example of what makes Margaret River blends so special. With 76% Cabernet Sauvignon leading the charge and smaller amounts of Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot in the mix, it’s a wine that’s as approachable as it is impressive.
Thanks to a mild growing season and a warm, steady ripening period, the fruit is beautifully balanced. Aromas of blackberry, violets, and bay leaf draw you in, while the palate delivers layers of red berries, a touch of chocolate, and fine, juicy tannins that carry right through to a long, smooth finish. It’s structured enough to age for a decade but so drinkable now, it’d be hard to wait.
Whether you’re pairing it with a roast, a midweek pizza, or just enjoying a quiet glass on its own, this is an easygoing, delicious wine that ticks all the right boxes. Margaret River at its best.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
