When Eleana Anderson and Jo Marsh tackle Tempranillo, they come at it with vastly different approaches.
Eleana's estate Tempranillo from Mayford is deep, powerful, ripped with tannin and built for the cellar. Jo's Billy Button expression is typically lighter on its feet, more about bright fruit, supple texture and immediate drinking appeal.
For the Anderson & Marsh bottling, they split a parcel of fruit, make their own wine, then blend the two together, giving you the best of both worlds.
This shows power, plushness and exotic spice. An exceptional Victorian Tempranillo, right at the top of the tree for Australian expressions of the variety.

"Two talented winemakers join forces, and the result is a stunning interpretation of a classic Spanish grape. They simply get it, choosing a path that allows the grape to reveal its red-fruited, lively personality, but with a rare elegance. Lovely fruit purity on display with bright cherry, blueberry and plum in a gently spicy, aniseed-backed setting. Medium bodied, the palate embraces a light savouriness, with herbs, earth and a touch of vanilla to close. Fine-lined tannins are at work in the background, adding a touch of restraint in perfect harmony with the fruit."

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
