About the Wine
The Worlds Apart Mountain Tops Pinot Noir, as the name suggests, comes from a high-altitude vineyard, where the cool temperatures allow the grapes to develop slowly and retain their high natural acidity. The final wine is a blend of three different vineyards within the same area, and four different Pinot Noir clones, which each bring different qualities to the final wine.
The result is lots of perfume, cherries and raspberries, and fine acidity, with a touch of spice. A lovely expression of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir.
About Worlds Apart
Worlds Apart is the small adventurous label of winemaker Louis Schofield and chef Hannah Jeffery.
Louis was the protege and assistant winemaker of the late Taras Ochota. From the Ochota Barrels wine studio Louis sharpened his winemaking skills and attacks the World Apart wines with a similar low-intervention but high attention to detail philosophy.
The grapes come from small local growers who farm with a sustainable ideology. These are small-batch, high-energy wines that pop out of the glass with loads of personality.
