This is so lovely, and kind of textbook in terms of how best to make a non skin-contact Grigio. Recommended.

About the Wine
The Mercer Pinot Grigio features what you know and love fropm the grape, but with some added complexity.
Pear and blossom announce themselves first up, and there's some delicious nuttiness and creamy, baked-goods characters that follow. This isn't your typical light and forgettable Pinot Grigio, as there's a bit of palate weight to it, while the acidity maintains the freshness and the slight nuttiness and powdery texture give it a nice savoury edge on the finish.
While you might usually enjoy a Pinot Grigio in the warmer months, this is a delightful wine to crack open with a pizza on a Friday night.
About Mercer Wines
Hunter Valley native Aaron Mercer has been involved in the wine game for over 20 years, starting from the very bottom, scrubbing tanks.
While he has experience across the globe, he’s made a name for himself in Australia through his previous role at organic pioneers, Tamburlaine.
Now back in the Hunter, Aaron sources sustainably grown fruit from across NSW for his wines.
This is an exciting new project, part of a new wave of NSW producers doing things their own way. With a great range of wines, it a label to keep your eyes on.
